ONE ARTIST. ONE CITY. ONE ARTWORK.

A global artistic journey by PixelAura Gallery.

THE ART MAP brings artists from around the world together through the cities that matter to them.

For this project, each selected artist chooses one city to represent through one artwork.

It can be the city where you live, where you grew up, where you once lived, a place that shaped you, or simply a city you feel connected to.

The artwork doesn't have to literally depict the city.

It can represent it through a memory, a feeling, an atmosphere, a personal story, or your own artistic perspective.

One artist. One city. One artwork.

THE IDEA

Cities are more than locations.

They carry memories, people, experiences, colours, sounds and stories and every artist can see the same city differently.

THE ART MAP is about those different perspectives.

Throughout the project, each participating artist will introduce their chosen city and artwork, gradually creating a visual journey across the world through PixelAura's platforms.

Every artist unlocks a new destination.

HOW IT WORKS

01: CHOOSE YOUR CITY

Choose one city that has meaning to you.

It can be your:

• Current city
• Hometown
• Childhood city
• Former home
• A city that inspired you
• Or simply a city you feel connected to

You don't have to be born there or currently live there.

02: CHOOSE YOUR ARTWORK

Choose one artwork to represent your city.

The work doesn't need to show the city directly. Your connection can be visual, emotional, cultural, personal or symbolic.

All artistic mediums and styles are welcome.

03: UNLOCK THE DESTINATION

Your city becomes a new destination in THE ART MAP.

Your artwork and artist story will be introduced through PixelAura's social media as part of the project journey.
